As a Montenegrin Economy grows, foreignes started to rapidly buy
Montenegro properties. The montenegro real estate market has especialy
intensified after the Montenegro independance proclamation. A Belgrade
based Economyst says that across the whole Montenegro coast a russian
willages are built up, especially around Sveti Stefan. Those are mostly
luxury villas. It can't be said exactly how many Russians and other
foreigners had bought land and homes on Montenegro coast. Property
prices are changing each day, a square meter of land can be bought from
300 to 600 euro and house or flat from 1000 to 4000 or more. Buying
procedure is very simple in Montenegro and there is no legal difference
between Montenegro citizens and foreigners. Current legislation alows
only foreign companies to buy land in Montenegro, however a new law
which is due to be voted in
Montenegro Parliament soon
will allow anybody to buy land in Montenegro without restictions. Until
that happens many international investitors will continue to open small
companies in Montenegro with the intent of buying land.
