Numerous cultural, artistic and sport manifestations have been performing on the coast of Monte Negro. Most of them are happening in summer months. The even cult festival "City Theater" in Budva assembles eminent theater and opera ensembles from the whole world. "Song of Mediterranean", as a prominent musical festival, fills the image of Budva. There is also the touristic attraction "Beach Soccer", international tournament in soccer on sand, held in Becici.
"Boka Night" and the Yugoslav Children Theater Festival take place in Kotor. "Bar Chronicle" is a theater, literature and arts in general review. Herceg Novi is with full right known as the city of arts. "Mimosis Holiday" has been held during winter months, and, in summer period, the"Summer Fair of Books", the music festival "Sunny Scales" and the "Festival of Film Direction". Exhibitions of artistic works and a number of regatta competitions fill the cultural, sport and, generally speaking, the touristic image of Monte Negro.
